AIRPORT SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION

In an effort to better accommodate the varied itineraries from athletes coming from over 30 states across the country, we have reached out to a shuttle company that is better equipped to handle the demand.  Teddy’s Limo Service will be providing airport transportation.  They can be reached at http://www.teddyslimo.com, click the make reservations box OR call  1-800-888-3339.

Teddy’s requests that athletes call upon landing and  1) be prepared to wait up to 60 minutes (they are committed to minimizing wait time as much as possible) and  2) get to the curb for pick up with their  baggage.

 Their rates are as follows and INCLUDE all tips, tolls, parking and surcharges:

LaGUARDIA  AIRPORT (New York)    ROUND TRIP   $150  / ONE WAY   $75

JOHN F KENNEDY AIRPORT (New York)  ROUND TRIP  $170 / ONE WAY   $85

BRADLEY AIRPORT (Hartford, CT)  ROUNDTRIP  $190  / ONE WAY  $95

These are the three airports we suggest and each is approximately  1-1 ½ hours from Fairfield University depending on traffic.  Registration runs from 12-2pm so we recommend flights that arrive by 11am.  On the return all athletes are checked out by 12pm so we recommend making flight reservations after 3pm to accommodate travel time and security check in requirements.  It is also suggested that you make  reservations for direct flights whenever possible to cut down the number of variables for your traveler.  

If travel constraints prevent you from making a reservation from your area that fits within these suggested guidelines, Teddy’s Limo is available for airport pick ups the day before camp starts.  Facility constraints prevent us from housing the athletes on campus but we have made arrangements with the Fairfield Motor Inn 2 miles from campus.  The manager Raquel allows the minors to stay under the supervision of our Assistant Camp Director for the one night and Blue Chip Lacrosse Camp will provide transportation for the athletes to the University at 11am the morning of camp.  To make a reservation at the Fairfield Motor Inn contact Raquel  Tuesday-Saturday from 8am-3pm EST 203-255-0491.  Please let her know that you are with Blue Chip Lacrosse so you can get one of the rooms that we have blocked off at the group rate.
