OVERVIEW

The profile has 5
sections:
1. Personal
info. This section contains name, address,
phone number, as well as the capability for
entering email addresses to send the entire
profile to any email address and a button to
download the formatted profile for editing and
sending via USPS. This section also contains the
email address and password for the account. Be
sure to keep your contact information up to
date. Make it easy for coaches to find
you.
2. Academic.
This section contains all the player's academic
information likely to be of interest to college
coaches. Your goal is to be accepted to the
college of your choice and your academic
information is at least as important as your
athletic record. Completing this section
accurately and completely is important. Be sure
to keep it up to date as new information is
received.
3. Athletic
information. This section contains
information about the player's physical
condition, coach references, athletic honors and
sports history. This section also includes
statements of plans for tournaments and camps in
the future so the coaches may make plans to
observe. Don't try to pad this list with items
of insignificance. Coaches will quickly
see through this. Keep your statements to
facts that make you stand out in a meaningful
way.
4. College
Interest. This section contains information
about the interests of the athlete as to college
location, division, academic interests and other
factors. Coaches will use this information
in considering whether to observe you. If you
say you are only interested in D1 in the
Midwest, coaches from other divisions and
regions are not likely to make a point to
observe you. Rule out only those options
that you are sure that you would not consider
under any circumstances.
5. Gallery.
This section allows for uploading still images
to an online photo gallery and inserting links
to You Tube videos to provide coaches access to
observe videos of the player in action. While
short videos may catch a coach's interest they
can't replace a well done player video sent to
coaches.
