Program Description
Overview
Blue Chip Individual
Training focuses on the development of player’s from the
ground up. The emphasis is progressive for both
offensive and defensive players.
Offense
will focus on individual dodging and stick protection
progressing to team play in two man, three man and four

a better team player; clearing space for the dodge,
balancing the field, picking for the ball and raising
your overall lacrosse IQ. In addition, offensive players
will learn how to handle pressure, double teams and
where to move the ball for the ultimate goal of finding
the 2 on 1.
Defense
will focus on individual defense with an emphasis on
stick, foot and body position along with defensive holds
progressing towards becoming great team defenders.
Defensive goals will be to learn to communicate as
individual and team defenders, anticipate slides, know
when and where to slide, and how to slide for a
successful double team. In addition, defensemen will
learn to work around picks and how to control their
Individual opponent for a successful outcome.
